Hi, my name is Rebekah Schur. I have been teaching for 11 years, I've taught kindergarten and 1st grade. This is my 8th year at Kolb, 2 years I spent teaching 1st grade and the last 6 I have been the Intervention Specialist. I work mainly with 3rd, 4th and 5th graders on reading, but I am also able to work with kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders. I love being able to work with small groups of children and watching the twinkle in their eyes when they get excited about reading. Kolb is a great place to work because of the warm and friendly atmosphere.

I have been married to my husband Dennis for 12 years, we have two beautiful daughters. Our oldest, Madison, started junior high this year and our youngest McKenzie is in 4th grade. When I'm not working on school stuff I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, watching U of M games, taking our dogs Jelly Belly and MaizyBlu for walks, and boating.
