Hi. I am Shelly Ragan (Blenkhorn). I teach 2nd grade here at Kolb. I have been in this position for 16 years. This is my 21st year of teaching with the BCPS. I received my Bachelors degree from CMU and my Masters from SVSU. My learning is never done as I take classes every summer to better myself as an educator of our future.

I have two daughters who are also students at BCPS. Kelyn is a 7th grader at Handy Middle School and Kylie is a junior at Bay City Central High School. I am married to my husband David who works at the Bay City Mall. I also share special moments with my yellow lab, Benson, and my cat Figaro.
