About me:
I am beginning my 2nd year at Kolb School, my 17th year with the Bay City Public Schools. I have been involved with our school system much of my life, attending school here since kindergarten, and with my dad who was one of 5 teachers in his family and was a special education teacher in Bay City. I received my undergraduate degree from SVSU with majors in Criminal Justice and History and a minor in Political Science. In the spring of 2011 I received my Master's of Education Degree, majoring in Principalship.
I am married to Amanda, who teaches at MacGregor Elementary, have two daughters, one who is a freshman in college and the other is a high school sophomore. We have a black lab named Hurley. I have always lived in Bay City, even attended Kolb myself when it was an intermediate school!
This fall I will begin my 12th year coaching 4th/5th grade flag football. In my free time, I have a photography business that keeps me busy. I also enjoy hunting, especially deer and turkey, love to watch Detroit Lions and U of M football, and occasionally play drums in a band.
